The Internal Quality Assurance Cell was started in the year 2012 in the month of October Mr. Mukut Kalita had been selected as the IQAC Coordinator. Due to several constrain and obstacles the IQAC did not come into an actual phase of execution at that period. However, it has been reformed in 2015 and Dr. Dulal Hazarika was appointed as the IQAC Coordinator on 10th Aug 2015. Since 2015 the cell has been playing a significant role in maintaining the quality of the institution. Again, IQAC was reconstituted on 23rd December 2021 in the G.B Vidya Bharati College where the position of the Coordinator is assigned to Dr. Mukut Kalita. Under the leadership of Sjt Nidhi Ram nath, Principal i/c and Coordinator Dr Mukut Kalita, Vidya Bharati College was accredited by NAAC with B grade in its first circle. On 25th July, 2025, Dr Sujata Deori has joined as Principal of Vidya Bharati College and accordingly IQAC was reformed after discussion in the NAAC review meeting held on 26th August, 2025 and resolution of Vidya Bharati College Teachers Unit meeting held on 29-08-2025. New committee was constituted on 06th September and Dr Dulal Hazarika is selected as the Coordinator w.e.f 01-09-2025.
