DECLARATION UNDER RIGHT TO INFORMATION (RTI)
STATUTORY DECLARATION ON RTI ACT
The Right to Information Act, 2005 has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15 June 2005. This Act provides for right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency in the working of every public authority. The authority of Vidya Bharati College will accept the RTI application from the citizen according to the provision of RTI Act. In this regard the statutory declaration is displayed on Vidya Bharati college website.
The citizens of India may seek information regarding the activities of the college by submitting a written request with details of information like Name, Address, Contact Number and particulars of the information sought, reason of seeking the information etc. The applications under the RTI Act along with a postal order/ demand draft for Rs. 10/- obtained in favor of Principal, Vidya Bharati College, Singerpara-Kendua may be sent to the Public Information Officer (PIO) or handed over in this office. All the information about college under section 41(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 is available for the public and it can be obtained by any citizen of India.
